Our editorial team operates from both Los Angeles and New York City, ready to assist you with all your film-related needs.
How to Get the Most from Your Message
A clear, well-organised message helps our editors respond faster and point you to the right person on the desk. Before you write, it is worth thinking about what kind of request you are making, because news tips, corrections and general questions are each handled a little differently.
What to include
- A specific subject line. Something like "Correction: release date in trailer roundup" or "Screening tip: New York premiere" lets us sort messages quickly.
- The page in question. If you are writing about something we published, include its title or describe where you found it, whether that is a story on our news page or a listing in the upcoming releases section.
- Sources for tips. If you are sharing information about a film, a trailer drop or a theatrical event, tell us where it came from. We verify details before publishing and cannot run claims we are unable to confirm.
- Your preferred way to be reached. Let us know if email suits you best or if a call back is more convenient.
Corrections and updates
Release schedules shift often, and studios can move dates, change titles or alter rollout plans with little notice. If you spot something that has fallen out of date, we appreciate the heads-up. Please be as precise as you can about what needs changing and, where possible, point to an official announcement from a studio or distributor.
What we are not able to help with
Doubt is an independent editorial site. We do not sell tickets, handle bookings or speak on behalf of studios, cinemas or filmmakers. For showtimes, seating or refunds, contact the theater or ticketing service directly. Our theaters section can help you get oriented, but the venue itself is always the best source for current details.
Because our desk is split between Los Angeles and New York, replies may come from either coast, so allow for time zone differences when waiting to hear back.
